Sometimes reading a character that shares many of your deep-seated anxieties can make you feel seen. Other times, all it does it reinforce every one of your gross neuroses and make you want to peel off your own skin every time you crack open the book. This was unfortunately the latter. But, my own insecurities aside, this still remains. lovely series and I am truly saddened to see it end.
its like low-key a 3 but I can't in good conscience give it three stars. its a long book that could've been severely cut down ill be honest, but some parts I did enjoy (like all of the Montague bonding it was so cute). I needed to read this book in order to finish the series I read forever ago but im no really sure if I wanted to or not.

I CANT BELIEVE ITS OVER. it was so nice to see felicity and monty again and i'm so glad the goblin got a book. adrian's anxiety is so well depicted in this book, i don't know that i've teared up over anxiety written like this in ages. i love his internal monologue, it was so intense and it's just so painfully good, i know mackenzi lee says this is just one experience of GAD but it felt very accurate to me, so this book felt like a familiar friend. i loved watching all three of the siblings reconnect and grow to love each other and finally weave their lives together <33 i love the montague siblings so much
