This was my first Hannah Cowan but definitely won’t be my last.

This was a 3-3.5 star read for me!!

I enjoyed this story a lot and liked the set up of the other books with all the side characters.

One thing that I did not enjoy is the nicknames - curly fry? Baby girl(even after she said she didn’t like it) - kinda gave me the ick.

I related a lot to Braxton though as a plus size baddie - and I love that she’s a vet and keeps her job after marrying the rich NHL star!!!

not my usual type of books, was stepping out of my comfort zone but to be honest I didn't really feel the connection and maybe it's because I speed read it, which is why I finished in one day, but it wasn't anything special.
