To be honest, I picked this one up after scrolling through Instagram looking for another hockey romance after finishing the Graham Effect and wanting to keep with those vibes. Saw this in a couple "hockey romances you should read" posts and decided to give it a go - bonus points because my library had it on audio, so I could listen to it at work!
Unfortunately, this one just was not for me. It was enjoyable for what it was and it matched the mood I was in, but there were just too many plot holes in the relationship and the pacing for me. I had fun, but it's not gonna be a story that really sticks with me or one that i can see myself really recommending to others.
