I enjoyed this book so much more than I expected to! I went in completely blind knowing that it was a hockey romance and that was all but I was quickly won over. A childhood friend's to lovers, second chance romance with a history that separated them. Yes! Gimme!

Honestly this book wasn't groundbreaking but it was fun, light-hearted and had enough swiony moments to give me giddy kicks and squeals!

The span between enemies to lovers was a little weird, and it got pretty chaotic in places (like all of a sudden the dad has a chapter?) but overall, a good read and I’d like to meet Maddox.
