I really loved this book and it was an experience to go through. The introduction of the new characters was done at a good pace, I was already comfortable with Celeana, Chaol, and Dorian so the new characters slotted in perfectly into the book. Also the overlapping of certain events was really fun to piece together, though I gotta say

the murder of sorscha was heartbreaking, like Dorian was so happy and the idiot king took her away from him :( poor dori

the only reason it lost half a star is because some points were ever so slightly confusing and needed clarification like how did celeana click that

it was brannon's friend who pierced the eye?? perhaps i missed a part in the earlier conversations :(
