3.5⭐️, I was really not sure if I was gonna love this book but damn those last 50 pages got me. Sucks that I was at work when I finished it bc I was trying so hard not to cry when she was reading her dads letters and talking to her mom. I wasn’t as in to the romance as I was expecting, it was more so the family aspect that really got me and is by far my favorite part about this book!

A cute romance! Probably my least favorite Emily Henry book that I’ve read so far, but I still enjoyed it. I loved the main characters and the buildup of their romance, but I wish the side characters were a bit more developed. Her “best friend” was barely in it, and there could have been more explored with Pete and Maggie’s story. I also felt like the plot line with Sonya and her dad wasn’t fully resolved. Overall a fun, relaxing read.
