My favorite by far. I have a lot to say, but my concentration is really bad, so I might forget some of the things I wanted to say.
First of all, while it's really obvious that Soul and Maka are soulmates, I find myself still melting from any interaction between Maka and Chrona. They. Are. So. Cute. Together. Whether it's romantic or platonic, they are perfect for each other, and no one can argue about it with me. CHRONA CALLS MAKA "LITTLE RABBIT" ISN'T THAT THE CUTEST THING EVER??? (she says, as she ignores the horrible context) I just want to see them go to picnics and have fun. Chrona's shadow questioning them until it starts to cry is still so sad. Every time they said "pass" I died a little inside.
Asura is really hot and really creepy and that is all there is to say. Hot crazy creepy pathetic man. That's him. Next. (the first part can also be said about Blair and Mizumi, which appeared for the sole purpose of being hot and doing a really good job at it, but their hotness makes me somewhat uncomfortable because of its said purpose. Does that make me hypocritical? I'm sure Asura being naked wasn't fan service, and it was more on the creepy side anyways... I don't know. I hope my distinction makes sense??)
While taking my short breaks between reading, I saw a video shipping Black Star and Death the Kid together - which came to me out of nowhere. I never even had a FLEETING idea for that kind of ship, and it actually felt really weird to me. I mean, maybe it just comes from my biases, but until watching that video I was sure the only times Black Star and Kid interact are in the Excalibur arc and the two fighting scenes. And though that video made absolutely no sense to me, and still doesn't, I now must agree that their dynamic is a lot cooler than I noticed beforehand. An excentric kid who wants to overpass god and finds himself to be superior to everyone that tends to fight up close, and an ACTUAL god-to-be who is usually very calm but has a serious inferiority complex and prefers to fight (or shoot) from afar. They're both some and some levels above Maka in power, and very easily outshine her (don't see this as me dissing Maka. I love her. She's amazing and her whole arc is a lot closer to my heart than the others - even if her character herself isn't as close as Kid's.) What I mean to say here is that if Maka and Chrona's dynamic is cool, then Kid and Black Star's dynamic is cool and the same way, sort of.

Stein, fighting alongside the man who ever since they were children kept him sane and functioning (somewhat) and whom he kept close attention to even after their relationship came to an end: "... bruh."
Whether he's gay or bisexual, he and Death Scyth are married. I'm not leaving this hill ever.
