“Because it’d be you. I knew it’d be you.”
Such a cute and quick read from Ashley Poston. A 40 pages romance that I devoured upon starting because how can you stop when you're already invested so much - especially with the question...where is Rhett?

Notes: The 5th in the "The Improbable Meet-Cute" novella series (6 stand-alone novellas released around Valentine's Day 2024), and probably my least favorite, which makes me SO SAD because I love Ashley Poston! (Do not let this novella turn you away from her novels!) I think we just tried to put way too much into way too short of a novella, and it's always hard to do anything any kind of love-triangley in such a short span of pages.

I like Ashley Poston a lot but 42 pages isn’t a lot to play with. It’s a cute idea but I think it needs more space to develop.
Nobody thought to check the bride’s room though? Like, she obviously didn’t show up to anything that morning either and nobody checked on her??? Girl, bye.

Cute idea but underdeveloped, especially when it comes to characters and relationships.

This story gave me butterflies! They were so cute and I loved how the romance was not between who you might think it would be about given the plot of the novella! Anything that gives me that many butterflies is almost always an automatic 5 stars.

With Any Luck by Ashley Poston is the fifth book in the Improbable Meet Cute series. A very cute story about the two best friends of a marrying couple.
