Tropes/Themes:
-Workplace romance (doctor x assistant)
-Enemies to lovers
-Grump (H) x sunshine (h)
-Millionaire hero
-Slow burn

This is a series of interconnected standalones that do not have to be read in order.

Workplace enemies to lovers are usually pretty hit or miss for me, so I was pleasantly surprised by how much I ended up loving this one! Elizabeth O’Roark writes top tier witty banter/dialogue and excels are creating slow burn tension and chemistry.

4.7 stars!!

This was so freakin good! I loved these two so much. The writing was done so well and their banter was elite. So was the slow-burn and the chemistry. It even made me laugh a few times. The bonus epilogue was to die for also. My first EOR book and now I know it definitely won’t be my last! This was one of the best romance books I’ve read in a long time. I loved it and it’s definitely a must read.

I wish the characters were riven into a little deeper just because loved them both and wanted tower know them even better. I also wish it was dual pov because there are so many scenes I want to read from the pov of Hayes. NGL I would probably sell my would for a book from his pov that is how much I loved him…
