Okay, ne ho apprezzato alcune cose, diciamo che ci ho visto molti ragazzi che conosco e la cosa che mi ha colpito di più è il fatto che pur essendo stato pubblicato tempo fa, ritrae un senso di desolazione ancora attuale per I giovani di oggi. Diciamo che mi ha lasciato un po' di malinconia.

questo delizioso racconto l'ho letto al ginnasio, miliardi di anni fa e l'ho adorato.
E' stato bello a 15 anni leggere le avventure del vecchio Alex, con il suo linguaggio non affettato, con tutte le sue citazioni "rock" da Baudelaire ai Clash, da Arancia meccanica a Salinger. Senza voler scopiazzare qualcosa.
Un inno alla giovinezza.
Lo sapevo a memoria.

È un po' la versione italiana de "Il giovane Holden", ma a mio parere più coinvolgente e vera.

I need to read this again. It's up there with a lot of other books I read during my angst-ridden days (Perks of Being a Wallflower) that will always occupy a special place in my heart.

Un ottimo esempio di vita tardo-adolescenziale bolognese, molto realistico e punk-rock. Vocaboli inesistenti, episodi di vita surreali, descrizioni al limite della paranoia mentale. E con il film c'entra davvero poco o niente, giusto i nomi dei personaggi. Mille volte più completo e significativo il libro. E decisamente più divertente!
