I discovered this book in the library or a small church— and was so delighted I bought the whole series! I laughed at each story, even more than my toddler did, and could enthusiastically read each page which encouraged my little one to listen, learn, and enjoy— even though it was slightly above his learning comprehension level. We have read them together so many times that I see him talking about them in our every day affairs… “just one, final, last cookies….” And “Does that toad have on his funny swim suit?”
Delightful thoughts!

I am rereading these beloved books with my third child. I loved Frog and Toad’s adventures as a child and I still enjoy them. I remember listening to the audiobooks to help me fall asleep. They are one of the first books I introduce to my children as early readers. What’s so wonderful about these stories is that they are humorous and heartwarming as much to adults as they are for kids. So I can read them with each of my children and never get tired of them.
