I didn’t like this book. The whole concept, the characters and their thought processes/decisions. Wasn’t for me. None of it made any real sense. I couldn’t wait for it to be over.

This manga was so cute! I highly recommend it. I ended up buying this book on a whim and then I decided to read it because why not? It won't take too long to read and I had a feeling that it was a feel good manga (and it is), so I read it in one go and I do not regret a thing. This manga is so addictive because you're so invested in the two characters and you want to see if they will end up dating by the end of the week. There's also the added layers of Shino, Toji's older brother's girlfriend being romantically interested in Toji, and Toji taking the dating serious whilst Yuzuru Shino seeing it more of a joke and being friends with Toji. There's also archery involved if you like seeing that sport on page. Highly recommend this manga and it is one of my new favourite mangas, and a yaoi manga I can recommend that is not problematic!

Why is this rated so highly?! I was so bored.

And the art!

Why are his eyes like that? What is he even looking at??

You can really tell this the artist's, Rihto Takarai, first serialized work. Check out her other work that she's written herself but pleeease skip this collaboration.

This was a very enjoyable read that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys Shoujo mangas. I felt as if I was going through the week with Yuzuru and Seryo, side by side with them and participating in everything they do together.

The art was absolutely stunning. Every panel and spread was gorgeous and hard to take my eyes off. The background of each drawing was very detailed, and it's obvious Rihito (the illustrator) put a lot of effort to make them the best the drawings could be. The panelling was also great and unique on each page. My only issue with the art is the height of the characters. On the cover, Yuzuru looks to be a tiny bit shorter than Seryo, but is actually a good 3 to 5 inches shorter than him in the story. Also I have no idea how tall both Yuzuru and Seryo are, but I'm guessing their quite tall as all the girls were very small compared to them? But besides that, the art is an easy 5/5. Also the coloured spreads on the first few pages of the book are amazing! I loved the spreads to bits.

I liked the plot. I've seen some say Yuzuru and Seryo's relationship was too rushed, but this is high school. Most relationships are fast-paced and not a month long slow burn. Also, of course it's going to be a faster-paced relationships than other ones because they only had a week to express their feelings. So I didn't personally think it was rushed. The plot line was easy to follow and adorable & heart-warming to read. The characters were also well done. Yuzuku for some odd reason reminded me of Light Yagami from Death Note??? Maybe how he was drawn? Now that I think about it, he does look similar to him... but besides the point, Yuzuku was a relatable character aswell as nice and outgoing. He had his downsides like thinking about himself more than others at times and being stubborn. But they didn't get in the way so it was perfect. Seryo was a quiet first-year who struggled to share his feelings and was indecisive. But he's also very nice and caring. There's also background characters like Koike and Ustumi, which I also think were a good addition to the story. The character development was very apparent (which I loved) and there was also some comedy sprinkled in which is actually funny.

When I finished the book, I honestly felt disappointed that Yuzuku's and Seryo's journey had come to an end (I'm sure they're still having a life offscreen and didn't just completely vanish after the book ended LOL) and like I mentioned earlier, it was as if I was with them throughout the whole week. I'm so glad I was able to read this book and I enjoyed every bit of it. I hope you like this story and connect with the characters as much as I did.
