This book started out with a lot more promise than it ended up carrying out. It kind of fizzled into a romance lustfest toward the end and I hated that part. Pretty much took away the potential to be a much better book.

I absolutely loved it! Sweet. Heartwarming. Funny. Engaging. And a little romance. Perfect.
Nina, not entirely in love with her city job, has a rough go, a few mishaps, and a bit of heartache, but at the end she finds home, community, and love. The Bookshop on the Corner safely falls into the feel good-I can fly kinda category - my favorite kind of stories.

A warm fuzzy blanket of a book! So cute, so cozy, so sweet, I loved it. It was a 5 star for me because I just genuinely enjoyed my experience with it. It made me feel so happy and warm and was so light hearted and just what my soul needed.
Loved the premise of this, and found most of it to be fun, escapist fiction. Unfortunately, the romance was garbage. The love interest was a jerk until about 3/4 of the book was finished. We eventually learn his backstory, that he was done wrong by his ex-wife, that he actually is a decent human being beneath the gruff exterior, blah blah blah. Still thought he was an ass. Ah well.
