I loved this book. A sweet, easy to read, and very enjoyable story. Now I want to move to Scotland and own a bookshop! I loved all the quaint characters and wish I could know them for reals. The audio version was excellent.

This is a book for book lovers! I enjoyed all the references to both classics and modern books. It's quite predictable, but a light and enjoyable summer read.

Nina is a 30-something that needs a fresh start and chooses Scotland (which really is not her first choice at all). She finds a fantastic community and with the help of her mobile bookshop brings happiness to everyone (including the grumpy old men at the pub) with her books as there are no longer libraries in the area.

Nina really comes into her own and blossoms in the beautiful Scottish country side, while also catching the eyes of a few men.

And now I want to drop everything and move to Scotland and if you're able to read this and not want the same thing, we can't be friends. :)

I really enjoyed this book, it was such a light read perfect for any book lover. Nina used to work for a library but when it had to close down she decided to open her own bookstore on wheels. Staying in the city wasn’t an option so Nina decided to stay in this small town in Scotland.

I love the small town vibes. The people, food, traditional parities sounds like a lot of fun. On the romance front it was a little different, a love triangle with a twist. But it’s not the romance that made me love this one. It’s the true friendships. Nina’s best friend, her helper in the store, the male MC’s to name a few.

This was my first read by Jenny Colgan and I will definitely be getting more of them. There’s actually a sequel to this one so I’m really looking forward to reading that one next.
