I thought it was such a fun read! The ending got a little adult, but throughout there was fairly little swearing, etc. & I thought the setting and subject matter were a lot of fun!

This book was a fun easy read and I enjoyed all the parts about Nina’s interactions with the town and her embracing her new life, but the romance felt kind of stale and unbelievable to me.
I discovered this book by Jenny Colgan several years ago...this is a constant re-read for me. The descriptions of the Scottish country delight my inner globetrotter. Nina's relationship to books charms the literary lover in me. This is a pure comfort read, and I find something to soothe my anxious soul every single time. ❤❤❤
