This was just a sweet little read about a bookstore. It really is like a love letter to bookstores and those who take the time to help us find the books we'll love. I liked Nina's journey to find her passions and how that centered her love of books. Just a nice book all-around.
3.5 stars. A fun audiobook with great Scottish & British accents. Perfect mindless book during a busy holiday season. This is my second Jenny Colgan book & it was very similar to the first just different country & different profession. I guess much like a Hallmark movie - you know what you’re getting but sometimes it’s just what you need.
I loved this fun read, and I hope to have many dreams of running a bookshop in Kirrinfief (which, upon further research, is not real). This charming little Scottish farming village is the real love interest of this book. (But to be clear, hot farmer comes in a very close second).

So, so good! Another favorite for the year for me, this one has all the good stuff - - humor, a setting you want to run away to, a community you come to love, and love, itself. This book is about so many things, supremely about living a full, giving, caring, passionate, real life.

It's a fun, heartwarming story with tender moments and a few twists. I loved Nina's character development and how she bravely went after what she wanted (after allowing herself to admit to herself what she wanted).

I’m basically obsessed with Colgan’s books now for being lighthearted and heartwarming. They are slightly formulaic, but I think that’s part of why I love them and am bingeing them. Perfect fluff.
