Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez is a super cute and funny summer romance that feels really down-to-earth. The characters are so relatable, and I loved how they grew throughout the story. The kids were especially well-written—totally believable for their age, which isn’t always the case in books!

The plot is a little predictable, but the humor and the character dynamics kept me hooked. It’s the kind of book that’s easy to enjoy and leaves you with a smile.

If you’re looking for a sweet, funny read with good character development, this one’s a winner!

This one was very cute and the characters and plot felt more fleshed out compared to Yours Truly. I’m glad I read the trio in release order, because all the full-circle moments with the different characters was so fun.

Overall a bit slow, but a good read. I was hoping for some turnaround for Amber, but she still was horrible. Happy about the progress for the FMC.

Longer than maybe it should have been but loved the character arcs
emotional medium-paced

I soaked up every moment in this deeply emotional and relatable gem. The pov from an avoidant personality and ptsd, along with all the other mental health conditions depicted in each character, added a layer of texture and depth that pooled into every crevice of my heart.
