A wonderful essay that every reader would relate to.

A quick read but not as inspiring or engaging as I had hoped. Good reading booklists in the back.

Not a bad quickie to pass an hour or so. It wasn't the most interesting reading/writing centered essay I have ever read, but it was still quite good. It's always wonderful to rediscover how many people there are our there who are just like me. She also has some really good book lists in the back and added several books to my "to-read" list. Reader? Writer? Go ahead a pick this one up.

This is my third time reading a book by Anna, and it was wholesome.

I must admit that after seeing her interview on YouTube, I was really struck by how distinctive
her voice and speaking style are.

I plan to read more of her writing.

كتاب كليشيهي للغاية، وددت لو استطعت منحة أقل من نجمة.
يللا، حصل خير.

DID NOT FINISH: 10%

It feeels so hard to read despite being so short and small like I’ve read two other small books since I started it I can’t seem to be beyond page 10. I did read some random pages and I thought they were fine but this is just boring. I do like the book recs
lighthearted medium-paced

I enjoyed this sweet short read on how the love of reading has been viewed and affected overtime by technological changes. It is nice to read about someone who expresses why they enjoy reading in a similar way to how i personally feel. This book actually came out a year before I was born so it is also interesting to see some speculation she had about the future and things she was right and wrong about.  But one thing is true people still hold great value in reading and in physical books. They still have a place in our changing world.

Was a bit hard to get into but good presentation of ideas

I love this little novella. Anna Quinlen obviously loves books and I love reading about people who love books, so it was a win win.
funny lighthearted reflective relaxing fast-paced
