 ranting about this book!

why cade does not provide for kylie after they got marrried? he is rich right? billionaire according to the book title. because of his lack financial support to kylie, kylie is force to work for daphne

why kylie and cade making their marriage secret? i just do not understand.

the only thing that i like about this book is how the author potray kylie as a curvy big body woman. not like a super hot model body.

but the story is just need to be edited better. a lot of lose ends...

agh! frustrated with this book. i dive into this book with a big expectation since cade is a knight in shinning armour. but it turns out cade is a coward. he can not even provide for his wife. he is a billionaire.

You know how sometimes you read so much romance that you can become numb to that flutter? That tingle? And only certain books really give that to you? Well, this was one of them. It was a beautiful story that had lust, emotion, and love. Such a grand story of learning to know your worth and to accept that you are worth something.

Kylie, as an experienced makeup artist to the stars, knows how to play herself and others up. It’s this skill that lands her a job working for Daphne Petty; a job that will bring her closer to what she needs than ever before. Kylie was such a refreshing and lovable character. Yes, she suffers from self-confidence issues as all women do, but she never once tore herself down. She knew who she was, what she was, and she was okay with it. Sure, I’m sure it did wear on her at times, but she was such a loving, selfless, giving person. She’s a woman you would want to be friends with because she’d always lift you up. I loved her and I didn’t want to leave her head.

Cade is used to getting his way. And before you think of that in the usual sense, I’m going to stop you right there. Yes, he has a lot of money (a lot). But he’s anything like the typical cocky, rich guy. He’s incredibly selfless and forgiving. In prior books, we always thought he’d end up with Daphne as he’s been strung along by her and her antics for yeeeaaars. And for a guy like Cade, a handsome, sexy man, to be willing to wait years for the girl he fell in love with as a kid? Well, that right there makes him different than most. But what he finds out, in this book, is that he’s worth a lot more than that. He’s worth finding a woman who’s just as selfless and caring as he is, and just one night with Kylie shows him that.

I went into this book having not read a lot by Jessica Clare. I was blown away by the ease with which she captivates you. From the first page I was zipping along each page. From there, I became engrossed in the story. I loved these characters down to their souls. I felt who they were and absolutely loved them. You really got a sense that they were meant to find each other; two halves to a whole. It was hot, it was real, and it, along with the characters, showed you that love is more important than body image or size or type. Love is love.

I reread Audrey and Reese's book, and realised I never finished the series. So Cade finally gets his time to shine, and it was fine, I just never fully believed that he and Kylie would be quite so head over heels for each other, though I'm extremely pleased he did not end up with Daphne. What a piece of work she is!

Not enough angst.
I really thought that in this last book, the secret society would have more impact in the story, but they could have been 6 average wealthy men.
I think I need to take a little recess from billionaires stories. They don't appeal to me as much as they did at first.

I have to start by saying that while this is part of a series, it can be read as a stand-a lone. The thing is that when you read this, you're going to want to read all the previous books! LOL!

I loved it! From the very beginning! Loved the characters and the story! I also loved that the heroine isn't your traditional heroine. What I mean by this is that she isn't a size 2 or a size 4. She's what we would call an average, 'normal' size... Kylie is a size 18. Additionally what I LOVED about this book is that Cade finds her utterly attractive from the very beginning. He honestly found her SEXY! AWESOME!!

Kylie is a bright personality that has a lot of love to give people and is a great friend. Even to those who may not be truly deserving of it. She has had a rough life yet still has a positive outlook. This aura and happy personality is also something that drew Cade towards her.

Cade is on of the characters that seems to have popped up a lot in the previous installments and this is where you may "miss out" a bit from not having read the previous books. However, the author does a great job of catching you up on what's going on regarding his childhood love interest and what has occurred up to this point. He is extremely charismatic and is always there for his friends. Extremely supportive. One would say, too supportive and understanding when it comes to Daphne.

Cade and Kylie make a great couple and throughout the story, they prove it over and over again. Cade knows this and realizes it. Kylie... not so much. LOL She allows her past to affect her present and future and while she says she's fighting for her happiness, she doesn't, not really. She allows others to dictate her life instead of having a conversation with Cade. It does become one of those moments when you wish you could yell through the book and say 'Just ask him for help!'

One thing I will say though is that I had a bit of an issue when the Cade and Kylie are together and happy and many people were either telling Kylie and Cade to "dial their happiness down a bit" or that they shouldn't be together all because Daphne has once again spiraled down and now crashed. Why should they? Its not their fault! They were NOT the cause! Daphne has had this problem for years and its HER issue and problem. No one else! I had a 'family member' struggle with addiction - I know first hand, that you can't stop living your life because of them.

I read this in one sitting and couldn't put it down! Loved it! And just so you now, I will be going back and reading the previous ones that I haven't read as of yet!
