I love Doctor Who, but I didn't really like this book. Maybe it was the old style or the dry description. I just felt it was very wanting. And the story seemed drawn out, then rushed to conclusion in the last chapter. It was a bit jarring. 2.5 stars.

Doctor Who. And Dinosaurs! Though not on a spaceship. In London. Yay! The story is pretty good, though the writing was a bit odd in places. At one point the Doctor is pretending to have an argument with a fellow prisoner and they use terms like "to grass" which the author strangely feels like he has to explain every single one.

The intro by Harlan Ellison I could have done without. What's the best way to introduce American fans to Doctor Who? Obviously it's to insult two of the biggest American sci-fi fandoms (Star Wars and Star Trek) and call cosplayers retarded! Ugh.

This is a great Doctor Who story.
Utilitarian antagonists believing they're really saving humanity, the Doctor loving his lectures and presenting the practical solution through a speech, and exciting dinosaur attacks.
Utilising the novel medium by putting us in the perspective of the dinosaurs at times. Very cool.
Love the Brigadier and Benton's loyalty to the Doctor.

Dinossauros e The Doctor.

Not as funny as the Douglas Adams stories, but still good, with excellent portrayal of Sarah Jane Smith.

With dinosaurs in central London, time travel, fake space ships, and Doctor Who, this book is ridiculous, but also lots of fun.
