Throughout the book we learn more about the man’s life. Through his thoughts and conversations with others we explore different views on happiness, memories, love, friendship and grief. It’s a slow paced book. It’s charm lies both in the internal struggle of our main characters journey to be at peace with what has been and what could be as in the pictures it paints. You can see the scenes play out before your eyes.
