Lux Colombia Clarke is your typical rich, socialite girl with a very lavish upbringing. Lux is who everyone wants to be. She is a social media influencer, clothed in all designer clothing with a high end car to match.
Slate is the opposite. He lives in the junction in his family home with his younger sister. He owns the mechanic shop in town along with a not so legal side hustle to keep up with his sister’s medical expenses. Did I mention he’s got the whole bad boy biker with tattoos thing going on? 😮💨
If you’re in to enemies to lovers with good banter, a sprinkle of touch her and regret it & even more tension build up - mark your calendars for July 1!

Thank you Jessica Jude for an ARC of this book. This is an enemies to lovers book about Lux, who is all about her image and how she is perceived in the public eye, and Slate, a “bad boy” who will do anything for the one’s he love. I really enjoyed their story about how they came into each others lives and how their love unfolded. Their story made me feel a mix of emotions.

Thank you Jessica Jude for providing an advanced copy of this book for me to read. I absolutely LOVED it! The twists and turns were amazing, there were no lulls where I felt I was bored. I loved how the characters and their backstories unraveled as the book went on. I could feel the chemistry between the characters through the pages at every step. I definitely went through a whirlwind of emotions as I read through. The highs were high and the lows were low. If you like reading about love and sacrifice and everything it takes to make it work this book is 100% for you.

I came across this authors request for ARC readers while doom scrolling so I signed up to receive an advanced copy and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I could not put this book down.
Lux is a social media influencer who grew up as a Silver Spoon but once she finds out her brother is getting into trouble drugs, she resorts to finding out who the dealer is.
Slate is the MMC you immediately fall for. Good guy who grew up in a crappy neighborhood and does whatever he needs to survive and provide for his family.
How the two of them end up meeting and working together is a fun story that I could not stop reading. I’m so excited for future reads from this author!
