This book was phenomenal. The narrators really brought it to life in the best way. I loved the meet cute. I loved the way Ada and Wes opened up to each other. I loved their chemistry and passion. I loved the mental health representation. I loved how supportive they were of each other's dreams. I loved how the side friendships evolved. I loved everything about this book.

Wes and Ada were so precious. With Ada's past, she is hesitant to be in any semblance of romantic relationship. But Wes is patient and soft, respecting her wishes but proving with actions how he feels about her. Their vulnerability with one another was so heart-warming and to see two people who thought that they weren't good enough find that one person that made them feel like they were everything, made my heart soar.

Normally, I think I'd give this a 4.25-.5, but I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. That makes it a 5.

"You're the moon," he said. "And I'm the tides. You pull me in without even trying, and I come to you willingly. I always will."

Another cute installment from the Rebel Blue Ranch series! Another gorgeous cover. This one follows Ada and Wes, the ultimate black cat/golden retriever combo. Weston is fixing up an old house on the property to turn into a B&B and hires Teddy’s old college friend Ada, to lead the project.

I really love the writing style, I feel so immersed into the story and the ranch. I adore the characters. We didn’t get too much of a glimpse into Wes’s character in Book 1, so I wasn’t sure what to think about him, but I fell in love. He’s such a sweetie. Ada is also a well-rounded character! I enjoyed her character growth throughout the story. The characters struggle with some real life issues; it makes the story feel more realistic. None of these are heavily explored though. I will admit it was a little insta-lovey (but that’s pretty typical for stand-alone romances imo).

It was also great to catch a glimpse of Emmy and Luke, as well as the other characters from Book 1. Super excited for Book 3 this fall! There was even a sneak peak at the end of this which I loved!

🤠

I loved this one! Ada was the perfect black cat FMC and I love the depth we got to see of Wes’ character. Found family trope lovers would enjoy this one.  Such a great audio narration from both Vanessa Edwin and Teddy Hamilton.

I liked this one better than Done and Dusted! Lyla Sage did a great job writing complex and relatable characters. Ada and Wes are great characters separately, but even better together!

All of the stars! I loved Swift and Saddled. Lyla Sage is fast becoming a new favourite author. This is a quick read on audio and the narration is perfection. Ada is an interior designer hired at Blue Rebel Ranch by Wes. These two have great chemistry and communication. They really get along at work and that forms into something bigger. I loved this book. Highly recommend.
