It is fascinating how Elena Ferrante can captivate you with this eviscerating stories. I didn't like reading some parts but at the same time I couldn't stop.

My father abandoned us during my childhood and this book made me see a bit the perspective of the feelings of a mother with two kids that has to some how juggle to work, to be good with the kids, to play with them, to run a house all by herself and how that can make you loose yourself at some point
