This was my first read from this author and I liked it. I enjoyed the fast pace and the insta-love (and of course the STEAM, five alarm fire in this book!) and if I had a complaint it would only be that I didn't get enough about the characters to 'fall in love' with them both. Oh I liked them, I just don't think we got as much back story as we needed to fully connect. I did love the writing though, it struck a good balance between hot and sweet and I look forward to more stories from this author. This was great for when you're short on time but need an alpha hero fix.

Another great book from Cassandra Bloom. This was a great role reversal showing women can do it too. Marlee and Ash wow did they have sex or did they have sex. Great chemistry, well written. I voluntarily read an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.

I enjoyed the flirting between Marlee and Ash and how much it pissed Colton off. I loved the bar scene and how it was such a new experience for Ash.
