I've never read anything like this. It was different, unique, and such an interesting story. Opal knows her faults and fully embraces them. She's just trying to survive and take care of her brother. Arthur knows his purpose, but hasn't fully embraced it.
This story started out slow and I wasn't quite sure how it was going to go. I went in completely blind. Not sure what the book was about. Just knowing spooky vibes. It did not disappoint.

Reminds me of Buffy, plus a haunted house that loves you, plus Revenge the tv show, plus beloved children’s books. Enthralled me the whole way through. Beautifully written and mesmerizing. The love you feel radiating from the book. I’m going to have a bad hangover from this one.

I loved the spooky and creepy vibes of this book. Definitely a good story to read around Halloween. I really enjoyed the relationship between the two main characters and how they cared about each other. The story was a little slow at times which is why I didn't rate it as a 5 but overall, I really enjoyed this story and would highly recommend.
