This was my first book by Alix Harrow and it did not disappoint. Starling House was an intriguing gothic fantasy about family, love, and finding your home. I love a good story about a haunted house. The wiriting was brilliant.

4.25 stars.. loved it! Alix E Harrow is becoming one of my autobuy authors. I love her writing style and she's just my kind of vibe. I really enjoyed this one because what's not to love?! A Gothic sentient house, a curse, monsters, a small town, lots of mystery, family, evil power company henchmen, some romance. Yes I would recommend this and will be looking for whatever she writes next!
