Nälkäpeli-trilogia on mestariteos! THOUGHTS:

This was probably my least favorite book of the series, but still a goody!

Much of the book focuses on war and its preparation, and as the conflict prolongs, I found myself losing some connection with certain characters and their relationships, as they seem somewhat changed and not themselves.

Similar to "Catching Fire," the pace accelerates considerably towards the book's conclusion. While I found the first and second books more enjoyable, this one still kept me engaged throughout, especially with its surprising twist at the end. 

I wish there were more details about the book's conclusion, but this series will always hold a special place in my heart. 

It's always tough saying goodbye to characters I've grown fond of once the series concludes.
