I don't know. It was kind of boring in the middle part. Things got thrilling and exciting when I reached the last part, the rebels vs. the capitol. And I wasn't really shocked when Katniss killed President Coin, I knew it from the time President Snow told her about it. I liked the ending, Katniss and Peeta lived happpily ever after, though I'll like it more if it's Gale, but whatever. Gale's probably kissing a lot of lips while Katniss and Peeta are together, lol.

I imagine Coin as Sue (in glee). It's weird, I know.

All my comments about this book are the same as in the other reviews, but, CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE CAT, I didn't cry because of Finnick or because of Prim, but the cat walking from district 13 to district 12 has me tearing up, anyway, I'm getting emotionally attacked by this series and I love it

SPOILERS:

I remember reading this the first time and having mixed feelings....and this time I felt similarly again.

While I'm glad Katniss and Peeta survived and got together in the end, I didn't like the storyline and how it happened, nor Katniss really.

I understand Katniss has been through a lot but my goodness she was unrecognizable and her attitude was so pessimistic the whole time.

And the love triangle thing 🙄 ughhhh. I mean I had already liked Peeta but after Gayle comes up with that trap to kill people and then do a second wave to kill the responders....that's pure evil. Killing innocent civilians, especially children....no just no.

And then the bombing of the children scene. I don't remember it being that detailed. It could have been worse but my goodness, I don't want thoughts of that in my head. And as a mom to a toddler....I can't imagine living through that.

Content: semi-detailed, bombings of children, death, war, drug use for coping, mental instability, murder attempts, blood, a sex scene at the very end that wasn't detailed at all-- could potentially miss it

My least favorite of the trilogy, but still incredibly successful
