My favorite new book. I couldn’t wait to see what happened to West Ravenal, the former drunken wastrel. He became my new hero. Redemption is sweet.
Phoebe, lively widow and mother of two young boys, didn’t mess around worrying about what others would think. She only only took a little time to examine her heart and realized pretty quickly that West was the man for her.
Beautiful and satisfying story.

this one was a delight to read. i kept smiling so much thorough the book.

Devil's Daughter was a sweepingly lush romance with an unhurried and beautiful love story. There was a wonderful element of passion hidden beneath their every furtive glance and conversation, and seeing that bloom into something spectacular has left me speechless. The build-up was just as amazing as the fall and I have been utterly charmed within the pages of this story.

There was such heart and care taken when Kleypas gave Phoebe a second chance at love that I couldn't help but feel her every step on that journey. She was such a strong, clear-minded woman with a loving heart, and she became everything West needed. Having adored West for a long while, I was enthralled by the goodness that was just ingrained in him, regardless of what was in his past. His redemptive character arc began to feel less redemptive and more deserving because he was such a beautiful place for the widowed family to fall. And I honestly couldn't have asked for anything better in their love story.

Devil's Daughter was simply breathtaking in its beauty. Kleypas has a brilliant way with words and storytelling, and in creating characters that are always layered and worthy of their own stories. I stand in awe of it, and I cannot wait for more.

**Received an early copy; this had no bearing on my opinion**

Cute, sweet. Something for the autumn time. Love a humorous and self-assured widowed heroine (bonus are her delightful children) and a self-loathing but competent hero. I enjoyed this but where’s the epilogue, Ms Kleypas?
