Just a personal preference but I dislike children storylines in my romance novels

Really loved these two characters. It didn't feel dry or boring. The kids were fun as well. Surprised at how much I appreciated the domestic Bliss this foreshadowed. And it's nice to know that Evie and Sebastian's kids are figuring it out as well.
Henry was a sickly, gentle child who was bullied in prep school primarily by West Ravenel. So, Phoebe, Henry's widow is prepared to loathe this man from her husband's past. However, she finds him far more attractive than she anticipated. West also steps in to teach her about managing her son's inheritance, but she finds that the current executor and her potential new betrothed may not be managing the estate in her best interest.

If you love the wallflower series, the ravenels is lovely fan service. This book was sweet, but much of the charm was from The original wallflowers.
Phoebe is a widow and West is a reformed rake that does not believe himself good enough for Phoebe. I’ll be honest I find this “I’m not good enough for her” trope tiring. I want characters who recognize they are not good enough but willing to put in the work.
