I will be short, it was an interesting book. I really liked that you start out with one story, and then it branches out to 2 stories.

However, while there were enough changes, it felt (around the middle) like I was just reading 2 sides of the same story. A lot of things that happened in branch one, also happened in branch 2. The only things different were a few actions, the guys and some events. But a lot was the same, and that was a shame.

I loved the romance. Trevor was a really cute and swoonworthy guy, while Duke... well I always had the feeling he was just a slimy player who used his powers for bad stuff. :\

Our main character was really good, I really liked her, and how she acted in the 2 branches and also in the normal story line. She was really nice, but also wasn't easily taken over by things.

I also liked the whole compound/normal world thing. Really creative.

This book was AWESOME! Thank you Kasie West for giving us such an original story. I loved it.

I loved the plot so much that I couldn't put this book down. I did want more character development with the secondary characters though.
This book was such a fun read, but I wanted just one more chapter. Just one more. But the fact that I wanted more, just shows how good this book is.

Well, this was a really good book! Pivot Point is one unique story. Basically, half of this book never happens. Or never happened. It's confusing, but it all makes sense. I wondered how the author would pull off something like this, but she did. And she delivered so well.

To be honest, I had no idea what this book was about when I bought it. I just saw it on the shelves and remembered it having at least a 4 star rating on Goodreads, so I bought it. I didn't even bother reading what it was about. And I don't regret it a single bit!

The premise for this book was very interesting. The plot was very well thought out and the author did a great job in executing it. I was hooked from the moment I started reading it. The whole thing was exciting and unpredictable, even with the author dropping subtle hints here and there.

I have so many things I want to say about this book - good things, mind - but I can't write them all out coherently. But there are only 2 things I can complain about. One, the alternating narration between Addie's futures work well for the most part, but when worlds collide it does get confusing. I have to think back and figure out which Search I'm reading about. Two, and this may be a spoiler here -
SpoilerI don't quite like how easily Trevor accepted Addie's "world".
There wasn't much doubting going on there, which is a little unbelievable. What is this, the world of X-men?

But overall, this book is absolutely great. I cannot wait to get a copy of the second book. I'm hoping it's just as good as this one!

The Reading Rush 2019

“I don't care when people think I'm an antisocial, controlling bookworm because that's what I am. It's when they interpret me wrong that I have a problem.”

I honestly didn't know what to expect from this. I love Kasie West's newer works, so I wasn't sure what to make of her dabbling in a different genre, but this was great. I'm so glad that this readathon finally forced me to pick it up. Trevor is great, he's so loving and understand! I hope that she gets to be with him in the sequel!!!

This is a very quick and light book, just what I needed at the time. With a unique plot and hilarious characters, Pivot Point is one of the better paranormal books I've stumbled across.
The two different paths were both so entertaining to read about and it never got boring or slow. The way the paranormal community was described was simple but made it very intriguing and created a well drawn picture inside my head. Everything was crystal clear.

I would recommend this both to people who've read a lot from the genre and are looking for something new and fresh, as well as to readers who are new to reading paranormal books.

This book is so amazing and I loved reading it a second time. Reading it another time through helped me see the cues of what was happening. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I liked seeing the changes of the different potential futures.
