This is the fifth In the Vinyl detectives series and I enjoyed it immensely.
Cartmel.
The Vinyl Detective and his sidekicks return for another adventure and whodunnit mystery with old and new cast members.
I always have a grin on my face when reading these books and this one did not disappoint!
If you haven’t read any then I recommend you get started.

This series is pretty firmly established in its quirks and characters. In the mold of an old Agatha Christie whodunit, Cartmel has a core group of oddballs who work as a team to dig up rare records and simultaneously solve heinous murder plots involving musicians and their buried skeletons. If you like the others, you'll like this one just fine.

What a discovery! It's a highly enjoyable and engrossing story that kept me hooked.
I had a lot of fun and want to read the other stories in this series.
The music part was a fascinating addition and I liked to read about punk and the age of Sex Pistols.
The narrator did an excellent job in telling the story.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC all opinions are mine.
