A real good fiction book that Lincoln gave me based on one of my favorite computer games. Plablo.

This was a very torturous book, filled with characters who had no will of their own, making it quite hard to identify with anyone. The book itself didn't really feel very Diablo to me, despite familiar locations, and characters, but if you give up on that and think of it as a dnd book it improves a bit. The two female characters were both overly sexualized. Especially the evil corceress lady who used sex in order to control gullible men.

Beyond that there were interesting moments and segments that made it bearable.

This was surprisingly great.

I've never played a Diablo game before but the world was easily understandable even without the context of the game.

Cursed Armor, Demon Armies, WILD Demon Praying Mantis, Good Necromancers, cooky Wizards, revenants, angels, AND MORE.

This felt like a really well put together DnD game, and to me that isn't a criticism.

The only note is there did seem to be some questionable depictions of race in the book. That was relatively minor...but it was there.

an enjoyable read. by no means a master peace but something for an afternoons casual reading. the characters are well done if somewhat broadly drawn and the plot is engrossing if not terribly original. i would recommend this to any diablo fan aswell as to anyone looking for a fun undemanding read.

Didn't even get to page 50. High recommendation to avoid.
