I loved the communication between these characters, the ropes and the accessibility aspect were also great parts of this book. Tons of great spice too. BUT... I listened to the audiobook and both voice actors were pretty cringey... I almost stopped listening, but wanted to hear the rest of the story.

I can't in good conscience give this book 5 stars for the one reason that I want MORE. MORE BOOK, MORE OF THESE CHARACTERS. And yet it is one of the few books I've read where I really feel the epilogues almost did a disservice and weren't needed. It wasn't the ending I was interested in but the beautifully written story and themes that I wish there was more time/book devoted to. Everything present was pretty well balance but I just wanted more time to delve into every aspect and every character. More rope play, more time delving into Jays depressive episodes and his recovery from them with Frankie in his life and her broadening his horizons.
A great read with absolutely STELLAR spice, I love how Frankie's disabilities and requirements were not just met but a key part of the story and enjoyment of these scenes. Some great scenes of you like power play and Dom/sub rope bunny scenarios without it going too far over the line into uncomfortableness which I can sometimes find. It treads the line well and extra points for the sheer amount of consent, god it's hot when that's worked in correctly.

Sorry to say I did not enjoy this as much as many of my book friends. I appreciate the representation, Jay's issues that require professional help, Frankie's openness and communication skills, the power of and support from good friends that accept us and keep us going. But I think the whole thing relied too much on sex (where is the actual emotional connection?), I hated the third act breakup (silly IMO) and the HEA that once again has to be a wedding. I can't get over it! Talk about unrealistic expectations. Yes, we read to escape and we want the HEA but Jeez... you've known each other for a few months.. why don't you just enjoy that stage of the relationship and keep getting to know each other before jumping into that. I wish more books represented the many different forms of a happy ending.
There is zero relationship development here and even less chemistry. This novel just seems like it was made just to check off a disabled genre box.

This was a solid book. I loved Frankie she's a great character real kick ass. I just wish the ropes had played a bigger part in the book.

I really love this book. Jay was genuinely nice guy, I loved that Frankie taught him about the things he had no idea about before he met her. No shame, no rudeness during their interactions.
Their relationship was really sweet. I’m glad I picked up this book.
