Though the book has lots of very funny parts and overall the idea is great but The dynamics between the characters didn't make sense to me, mainly from the fmc pov. Fmc has known the mmc for a lifetime but can belive that he can sabotage her career? At the end she goes from hating him for weeks to forgiving in a second, to get the happily ever after.

DNF at 90%, but I’m marking it as read because I deserve compensation for my time
This book had me laughing out loud! Definitely one of the best rom coms I have read in a while! The main characters were silly but at the same time serious and I loved it so much. I think this is one of my top books of the year.

If Olivia didn’t have bad luck she would have no luck. After accidentally setting fire to her apartment complex burning her cheating ex boyfriends love letters she has to move in with her brother and his roommate while she tries to get her life back together. As if that wasn’t embarrassing enough her brother’s roommate turns out to be his best friend and her least favorite person Colin Beck. Colin has always gotten a perverse joy out of the ridiculous situations Olivia always seems to get herself into and never lets her forget it.
But things seem to turn around when she gets a hot text from a wrong number and they start an anonymous texting friendship that helps her get through the absolute dumpster fire that’s been her life recently. When he suddenly ghosts her and she finds herself getting closer and closer to Colin of all people she’s now fairly certain that nothing stranger could happen. That is until she finds out why Mr. Wrong Number really ghosted her…
I knew I was going to love this one and I wasn’t disappointed. Lynn always nails the perfect enemies-to-lovers witty repartee. Colin and Olivia’s banter was so hilarious and filled with the perfect amount of sexual tension that I was on the edge of my seat just waiting for them to come together at last.
This one is pretty low steam so if you’re not into that then move along but if you’re looking for a hilarious enemies-to-lovers, brothers best friend, forced proximity, anonymous pen pals with a swoonworthy hero and a magnet for bad luck heroine then you’ll love this one as much as I did. Lynn is definitely a one-click for me now!
