This was a really fun read.
Tortured Methodist minister who won’t allow himself any vices meets a feisty and independent young woman working at a brothel, who is completely unashamed of her own lust and pleasure.
This is a slow burn, delicious story with a great selection of tropes including a road trip, the infamous one bed and taking care of the other after an injury.
I did skip over some of the religious content, as a former Catholic a skim read was enough for me, but I did love reading how poor, sweet Henry slowly reconciles his human desires with his faith.
