Wish I had enjoyed it more as the premise was interesting, but after 50% in Lauren went completely psycho and ruined it for me, crimes and jealousy is not the vibe guys
Also you're telling me that there was no other option than that ending??? Completely crazy and unsatisfying ending, what a waste

The premise of this book very much intrigued me.  Lauren finds herself with a husband she’s never met and a life she doesn’t recall living.

And then discovers a new husband and a new life every time a husband disappears into the attic.

This book was such a refreshing take on the ‘what if’ question we all ask ourselves.  What if we made a slightly different choice?  What would the repercussions be?

The author makes the journey funny, even when handling difficult situations.   The narrator kept me engaged.

Overall I enjoyed this book.  I didn’t rate it higher because I felt like the ending was rushed, so not as enjoyable or well paced like the rest of the book.

This was just a really fun read. It made me think a lot about how our lives are really influenced by the people around us and about the idea that we would be different if we had met different people. It also prompted some really interesting reflections on the disposability of modern dating culture and dating apps, which was really good.

Despite this, it's such a lighthearted and feel good read. I laughed a lot and the tone was just really great.

A hilarious plot but got me sad for the main character at times. To be stuck in a cycle where she becomes a new person each time a new husband comes out, her previous history erased and her friends forget the memories that stick with her. I was sad about her losing the first Carter. Then the second one I thought “good riddance.” The ending left me wondering what happened! It was mostly satisfying but just a tiny bit more would have been nice for closure.
