informative medium-paced

A very good and wide ranging biblical review of repentance as a theme throughout scripture. He gives more space to an OT review, perhaps too much so, and the work remains, overall, as a theoretical understanding. As such it lacks some pragmatic, pastoral or even evangelistic suggestions coming out of overview.
Still worth reading even if it doesn’t say anything particularly startling in observation or insight. It’s value is more in the comprehensive nature of the work.
