That was good, loved it. Nobody can write a battle like Joe Abercrombie. Loved the plot and characters and eagerly awaiting the next book.

I love Orso as a character, such fun and amongst my favourites in this fantasy world.

Roll on September 2021!

Simply put, as I have continued to read the First Law 4 has continued to climb up the ranks as one of my favorite authors. In my opinion, his books continue to become better and better as we go along.

The 2nd book in the Age of Madness trilogy is no different. It's everything you look for in a grimdark book and more.

Without spoilers, that is all I can say.
Simply great.

Alright, some stuff finally started happening.

Probably my favorite book outside the Heroes for Abercrombie. Let’s see how the trilogy ends

As good as fhe first and it will be interesring how he winds it up. Some of the characters are brutal and yet you also have sympathy for their actions sometimes.
