3.6 AVERAGE

It's been a while since I've had a book toss me around like a washing machine. I admit that at one stage in this book, I almost gave up. I couldn't understand why it was so slow (part 1)... But I persevered, because I am extremely nosey and couldn't imagine not knowing how it ended.
Well, what an absolute treasure it turned out to be. It threw me around in all the best ways.
Read whilst seated, guaranteed to make you dizzy.

This was my second J.P. Delaney book and I am enthralled! I loved it soooo much! Truly a mind-bending crime novel that was very refreshing. And most importantly, it had it all!

WTF just happened...

3.5 stars This book was complicated and sometimes a little unclear as to the direction the author wanted it to go.

This is a novel about Claire, a British actress trying to make it in New York and ends up working as a honey trap to make ends meet. She then gets drawn into a plot to try and trap a man who is suspected of killing his wife. This book sounded so good and I was really looking forward to reading it but I struggled to get in to it. I ended up buying the audio book and while it worked better for me as on audio I did find the whole plot was just too over the top for me. It was a fun enough read but it’s not a book that will stay with me. I think that maybe this author just isn’t for me as I know others have really enjoyed it.

Wow! What an exciting read! Hired to play the part of an available woman to catch cheating husbands, everything changes when one of the “marks” turns up dead after a job. With the twists you won’t know what just happened!
