J'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à retrouver les personnages de la saga quelques années plus tard. Etait-ce un ajout nécessaire ? Pas forcément mais j'ai quand même passé un excellent moment en le lisant.

This was a very quick read, but that doesn't mean that Jennifer didn't pack some punches into there! I mean, you're running through this investigation with Cassie when there is a plot twist! In such a short book! It was very well done.

One thing I don't know how I feel about? The random flashbacks. While it was fun to get a small peek into the naturals backstories--ALL OF THEM EQUALLY THIS TIME--I didn't understand the point for the story. I'm pretty sure they're only there for the reader's entertainment, which they were interesting! Just... unimportant. Make them "extras" or something lol idk

Still a great read. I didn't think I'd enjoy this very much at all, but I did!

P.S.- I was about to say I don't understand the title of this book, Twelve, but then I realized it's because the girl in this story is 12, and every flashback we have is of the naturals at the age of 12. So... I guess that was the purpose of the flashbacks 🤷🏻‍♀️
