I have read the bound by blood books of the same world and was excited to start Nino’s story. I will say this; THIS BOOK BEEDS A TRIGGER WARNING in it. There is no authors note in the beginning of the book warning you that there is a r@pe scene that is on the page. That almost made me put this book down, but I pushed through and I’m glad I did. Nino and Kiara have healing to do, Kiera’s is pretty evident in the beginning but Nino’s was at the end which I wish had been sprinkled throughout so that it was more believable. Nonetheless they both heals each other but not in the same way. I did live this book despite the lace of context warning and it gets 4 stars instead of 5 because of that.

One of my favourite mafia books. The relationship between both characters was so sweet even with their troubled past. I also enjoyed watching the other characters grow.
