here’s the thing i really wanted to like this book. the way it’s set up in the description is incredible: sapphic, enemies to lovers, fake dating, even a one bed trope scene. but i ended up a little disappointed.

the book was fun and sweet at times and it was a really quick easy read. i just was very uncomfortable by the way that one character essentially manipulated/forced another one to come out :/

i also had a hard time connecting to the mc but given how quick this read was i don’t regret that i read it - it just didn’t fully live up to the hype i’ve seen around it

I am someone who used to talk about how much I hate reading, mostly due to school English class reading assignments that never fit my taste, and have tried to pick it up as a hobby, but have continuously failed because I didn't find the books interesting.

But somehow I was able to finish this in 2 days. Genuinely such a cute romcom with so many tropes I absolutely adore, I feel like this book was made for me. After reading this I have definitely gained more of an interest in reading.

Any other sapphics who are looking for a gateway book, this is for you.
