A fun summery read following Genevieve as she comes back to town for her mother's funeral and reconnects with her ex, Evan. This is the second book in the Avalon Bay series but can definitely be read on it's own.

I read this quickly but wasn't all that invested in the main romance. I liked that both Gen and Evan had things going on outside of the relationship but they weren't that great together imo. The small town setting and side characters really held up this book for me.

Brilliant read, love the chemistry between the FMC and MMC, the plot was good with some brilliant twists. I laughed at times and even cried. Some relatable and sensitive topics covered in delicate but realistic way. I can't wait to read the last book in the Avalon Bay series. A little predictable in places and some aspects appear to have been left unfinished.

This was a great summer romance! This is the second book in the Avalon Bay series. We get to finally see and understand both bad girl Genevieve and bad boy Evan. I did love the themes in this one. The second chance for both romance and discovering a new sides of themselves was everything
