This was a really sweet, second chance, forgiveness and fun summer vibe read.

I loved getting to know Evan and Gen more during this book. And I loved hearing more of the shenanigans they got into when they were younger.

It was great seeing more of Coop and Mac. Plus the extra details about The Beacon.

I felt so much with Gen and everything that she had to deal with throughout the book. I loved that she realized that she can’t be responsible for someone else’s actions. That whole scene was very powerful.

I loved seeing Evan care so much about Gen, that he was willing to do whatever it took to get her back. And man, there were some hilarious moments when he was finding his way. (OMG Daisy!) Also, Riley and the sailing regatta. Amazing!

I am excited for the next book in the series.
