This was pretty good, I liked the first in the series better. The writing and plot were decent, I think I wasn’t into the jealousy thing very much but that’s more preference than anything.

I expected so much more from this book especially as it is a very underrated trope, second chance romance. I was looking forward to Gen and Evan's story since I read Good Girl Complex. However, their dynamic was all physical attraction and lacked a genuine, emotional connection. There was also so much focus on the random side characters instead of rebuilding their relationship. Evan and Gen showed so much character development (hence the rating) so I was hoping their story would get better but it sadly never did.
