Mysterious, supsensful and filled with humour and friendship: perfect second addition to the series.

“It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.”

Chamber of secrets is, in my humble opinion, the worst Harry Potter book… but its not bad by any means. It’s still fun to read through and though the murder-mystery thing might not exactly work in the Harry Potter series, I still really enjoy it every single time.
But let’s be real, the best aspect of this book is freaking Gilderoy Lockhart. He’s so annoying it cracks me up every time.

10/10 | "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" captivated me far more on this read than I remembered, culminating in an iconic twist that still impresses.
