Emilia's life has been completely changed after finding out her sister Vittoria is alive but why was she faking her death? Emilia is left to find out who she really is, who is her family, and uncover the secrets of the underworld.

Some things the author did well: spice, it increased immensely to the point that this book should no longer be considered a young adult book. It also developed some secondary character which is probably going to receive their own books.

What I didn't like:
There were many times when things were introduced into the story, only to be quickly resolved.
Everything felt too easy, or predictable, even in the end.
We also don't see much of Wrath, he is the reason I loved the previous books and he seems weak in this book, he's only there to sexually please the main character.
Too many plotholes...I'm just going to pretend I never read this.

I really enjoy the world building and characters in this series.

I think the pacing for this book was great up until the ending. The ending felt anti-climatic and unfinished. Instead it is all rushed and kind of resolved but not in a satisfying way for myself and what I was looking forward to. It is unfortunate that that is the ending we got as the rest of the book didn't feel that way, and the ending is what sticks with most readers.

This will not stop me from reading Kerri Maniscalo's future books, and I look forward to her new works.

Oh my god finally. We went from YA to NA. I started the book very angry because I’ve gone 2 books with no steam. Then there was not immediate steam. However, this author somehow made me fall in love with all these evil demons, and her shitty sister, and everything. Love is a risk yall. The high rating though honestly is because there is a very very high amount of smut which I greatly appreciated.

The third book in Kerri Maniscalco's Kingdom of the Wicked follows Emilia's quest for truth as she falls in love with one of the seven princes of Hell. Kingdom of the Feared is no exception to the spiciness of the new adult genre.

All I can say is I was disappointed with this final instalment in a series I'd devoured. Gone were the time I'd flip page after page desperate to find out what was going on. Instead Kingdom of the Feared was bland with sex scenes overtaking the central plot, to the point that I was skipping them. I can imagine that Kerri wanted to write smut with this series (considering, she didn't in Stalking Jack the Ripper) but when it takes away from the plot, I'm not a fan.

Whilst this tied up lots of loose ends, I can see that with the expansion of the other princes of Hell's stories, there will be a spin-off, which I won't be picking up. The character development was confusing with Emilia giving whiplash surrounding Vittoria's betrayal, and I'm just honestly confused.

With all of that being said, I'm giving this book 3 stars. It didn't captivate me in the way that previous installments did but was still fast-paced enough that I could find myself enjoying it, despite the flaws.

This is NOT a young a adult book & should not be marketed to teenagers. The first book of the series is fairly tame but a little slow. Then books 2&3 are practically soft porn & sex is basically the focus & driving force of the entire storyline. The plot itself is predictable & has a few vague side plots that either don’t fully resolve or have nothing to do with the main storyline & seem very random.

I’m really bummed I spent my money on this series.
