I absolutely loved this series and was hooked by the earlier installments, but this book fell flat for me. It felt unnecessarily long, and I found myself skimming—or outright skipping—entire chapters because certain POVs were just too tedious or frustrating to get through. While I’d still recommend the series as a whole, I honestly can’t say the same for this particular book.
